Getting Started
Welcome to GullyTalk! Follow these steps to begin voice chatting:
- Allow microphone access when your browser prompts you
- Select your preferred mode
- Tap "Start Calling"
- You will be connected with another user automatically
Troubleshooting
Microphone Issues
- Ensure the microphone is not muted on your device
- Check browser permissions under Site Settings
- Refresh the page after granting permissions
- Test your mic on another website or app
- Close other apps that may be using the microphone
Connection Problems
- Check your internet speed and stability
- Disable VPN temporarily
- Clear your browser cache
- Try using a different browser (Chrome recommended)
- Restart your browser or device
Not Getting Matched
- Allow a few seconds for matching
- Try switching to Random Mode for faster matches
- Preference-based modes depend on user availability
- Peak hours usually have more active users
- Refresh and retry if it takes longer than usual
Audio Quality Issues
- Stay close to your WiFi router
- Close background apps using internet bandwidth
- Using headphones may improve clarity
- Check your microphone input level in device settings
Using Features
Mute Button
Tap the microphone icon during a call to mute or unmute yourself.
Next Button
Use the Next button anytime to move to a different conversation.
End Call
Tap the end-call icon to disconnect and return to the main screen.
Preferences & Modes
Modes Available
GullyTalk offers:
- Random Mode – Connect instantly with any available user.
- Preference Mode (Premium) – Allows matching based on your preferred connection type.
Why am I not getting preference matches?
Preference matching depends on availability. If fewer users are active in that mode, matching may take longer.

Mobile Support
GullyTalk works smoothly on most modern mobile browsers. For best results, use Chrome or Safari on your phone.
