Your safety is important. GullyTalk is designed for anonymous voice conversations, and these tips help you stay secure and comfortable at all times.
Protect Your Identity
- Use only a nickname – Never share your real name.
- Keep your location private – Avoid sharing city, address, nearby landmarks, or workplace.
- Do not share contact details – No phone numbers, email, or social media handles.
- Never exchange photos or videos – GullyTalk is strictly voice-only.
- Avoid financial details – Never share payment, banking, or account information.
During Conversations
- Trust your instincts – If you feel uncomfortable, disconnect immediately.
- Use the Next button anytime – You are always in control.
- Set boundaries – You are not required to answer personal questions.
- Stay calm and respectful – Healthy conversations are built on mutual respect.
- Report unsafe behavior to help maintain a positive community.
Red Flags to Watch For
Be cautious if a user:
- Requests personal or private information
- Tries to pressure you into sharing details
- Uses inappropriate, harmful, or disrespectful language
- Attempts to move the conversation outside GullyTalk
- Asks for help involving money or financial support
- Makes you feel threatened or uncomfortable
⚠️ Important: If someone behaves inappropriately or makes you uncomfortable, end the call and report the incident to support@gullytalk.com.
For Parents & Guardians
GullyTalk is strictly for users aged 18 and above. If you believe a minor is using the platform:
- Monitor internet activity
- Use parental control settings
- Discuss online safety with them
- Inform us immediately
Technical Safety
- Use secure networks – Avoid public WiFi for private conversations.
- Keep your device updated – Update browser and OS regularly.
- Review privacy settings – Ensure your browser permissions are correct.
- Stay alert – Although GullyTalk does not record conversations, we cannot control user actions.
If Something Goes Wrong
If you face harassment or concerning behavior:
- Disconnect from the call immediately
- Use Next or End Call options
- Report the incident to support@gullytalk.com
- Provide basic details to help us investigate (no personal info needed)
- For serious threats, contact local authorities
Emergency Note
If you ever feel in immediate danger outside the platform, contact your local emergency services.
